Been working on getting my shell ready for carpet. Some asshat put the window seal tape on the windows instead of the shell. Getting the old tape out of the channels was a royal pita! Finally done with that. Borrowed my wife's clothes steamer to see about molding the carpet to the windows and the reenforced hump on the top. It works perfect. So tomorrow morning I am off to Home Depot to get enough of the outdoor carpet to line the entire thing. Hopefully I will be able to get it all molded and mocked up tomorrow, then let it dry out over night and glue it in on Friday. I would love to put it back on on Saturday.

I got use to the shell, driving around without it makes my truck look funny to me. The bed hasn't been so naked since I bought it. I put bed light bar in right after I bought it.

So I wanted to ask you jimmy, I see the bump stops are alot bigger. Do I not lose up travel?? According to a buddy of mine he said forget them. But they do look so soft. Lol.

No you won't loose any, when compressed they are the same height as the stock bump. Go look at your stock bump stops, touch it, feels like a fucking rock right? They are soft so the last few inches before you bottom out are more controlled, you don't get that hard slam when you hit the bump. (The purpose of a proper bump stop) controls the last bit of up travel.... Was this Marty that said that??

I'm not sure it's noticeable unless you're looking for something.

Straight up dinosaur 90w since you are breaking in new gears. Change it after 500 miles, and I personally stay with regular old 90w but you can run syn if you want after the break in.

Yup. Call me old fashion but i use dino oil in my diff. But lets not start another oil debate and just do what we can all agree on. Change the oil regularly!

Yea, these trucks were essentially designed 20 years ago and we're designed for dino. While synthetic may be "better" they'll be fine with dino, unlike cars today that are designed for synthetic.
