its a Jewish bread.... its got butter, eggs and honey in it, chewy and yummy!

this lady cant find it anywhere here local, so she offered to pay $5 a loaf if I made it for her :) of course she'll get them for free. I LOVE making breads, just not at home really.

I love challah bread! I'm Jewish and we eat it every Shabbos. I like it plain, or even with some lox on it.

I like challah - tasty stuff. Havn't had it in years though, I'm more of a dark rye /pumpernickel fan, although I mostly stick to honey wheat...mostly. I like making my own bread also, Mostly the honey wheat/wheat type, I also make my own pizza dough, its so easy why not, and to this it all started when I started to play with yeast and suger making ..uhh....an alternative fuel source....yea that workds he he :D

It got me into the "chemisty" of cooking, I like thinking of it as a chemistry project meets art, lol.

    that's cool!!!

I worked with a master baker for years making breads. I never stopped learning new things. Have made some seriously crazy stuff over the years.

Wild Mushroom Sourdough was the most disgusting thing ever requested from a chef.

Up in the air, big a$$ tires.
Post up the recipe. I got some time off and will be doing some baking. I found a recipe for some dope ass beer bread. http://www.recipezaar.com/Lazy-Irish-Beer-Bread-14988

You really taste the beer, so use what you like. For me, the hoppier the better (try New Belgum Brewing's Hopptoberfest if you can find it). This stuff is perfect with a good bowl of chili.

-Place into a bowl, proof for 2 to 2 1/2 hours

-Divide and shape - place onto a sprayed cookie sheet with a little corn meal

-Proof/rise for several more hours ( I use my dishwasher to proof )
