Yeah this guy can't be serious. 7" drop bracket lift? Lol, might as well have asked where he can find some some 8" lift blocks so he can run 40" tires on his stock rear springs.

No he has a 5 inch DB lift and want to utilize 2" coilovers to get to 7". Since the DB maintains stock suspension geometry you can get away with using coilovers to gain a bit more lift...

Thanks for clearing that up thunder!

OP, you should be fine running a coilover to get to your 7" goal..

FWIW I'm not sure what he's trying to accomplish. A coilover setup won't really clear up the "driveshaft too long" problem. Is it the front driveshaft that's too long? Or the rear?

Yeah...its the rear he has problem with. But since he was thinking of more lift in the rear to correct his angles, itll leave him with a bro lift setup, thus needing more in the front.

But the main problem was extending the driveline! That was never needed! Even the 6" DB lifts dont require extending the driveline.

I guess what i dont understandthough is even with the driveline too long, that wouldnt change the angles. The angle would be set with the tappered blocks that came with the kit. The extra rear lift will obviously help with the too long problem, but not the angles. OP will have to get blocks with a steeper angle to compensate for the increased angles due to more rear lift.

Edit** i reread op's posts, he understands that a block with increased angle is what will be needed to compensate for additional rear lift!!
