I'm In the same shoes as you...but my son likes to get up early, like 5:30-6:00am. I might try and stay up...but diffienitly won't include drinking.

Won't be, staying home. Not doing anything other than probably just having a toast with my parents at midnight to bring in the new year. Not big into partying or the bar scene, and most of my friends have young kids, (ranging from infancy to 5 years) so they will not be up for me to hang out with.

I'm only 22, but I guess I'm just not social enough to be a big drinker. Just not into partying, or being around a bunch of people. I do enjoy a drink, but I like to be in control of myself. At least if I decide to get drunk with my Dad, (a rarity) I have a place to sleep, and I know nothing crazy will happen.
Maybe I'm missing part of being in my early 20's because I'm like this, but I don't care. Don't know what I'm missing! :D
Now this isn't to say that I haven't been drunk, of course I have. And I had fun. But not my cup of tea.

I know how you feel. I don't drink and in Big Bear there isn't really anything else to do besides drink and party so it kinda sucks

That's about how it is here! And everyone I'm friends with that is my age only wants to drink, do drugs, and act stupid. So though we are still friends, we don't really hang out. My idea of hanging out is fishing, mudding, working on cars, shooting guns, etc. I could give a shit less about getting drunk and high. I'm not into that, so I generally end up hanging out with the older folks. My best friend is 33, and most of the folks I hang out with are around the same age. Maybe I'm secretly old. :D

Yeah same, although I don't mind the stupid stuff. I mean 90% of what I do in cars is stupid haha. That is one reason I chose to go to a private christian college. Less of that stuff going on which is nice. Anyone who wants to do that stuff goes to the other colleges.

Good on you for doing the college thing! I couldn't afford to, and whereas my grades were good enough to get me into good schools with decent scholarships, I still couldn't afford the rest.
Now I can be dumb in a car, too. I'm definitely with you on that! :burnrubber:

Oh I definitely can't afford it lol. I'm just trying to get some scholarships to make it a little easier. Thats's like the only good thing about the 4runner blowing the head gasket is I'm not throwing parts at it every month
