Toyota doesn't include a tow hitch plug? How cheap can you be?

Love this look. I will be serious poseur but think I have to go for it. I have no real need for sliders but want the door protection. I had chrome pipe steps on my 04 and zero door dings when I sold it.

They are OEM parts. Because they are for Limited which has trick door locks, I decided to have dealer put them on. I gave them my old handles for labor.

Dropped 4G on parts for a truck I don't have yet. Will have dealer install Toytech Fox Ultimate Suspension/Lift kit and Skid Plate. I still need to get BFG-KO2 and a different set of rims other than the stock tires and rims. They will be for sale once I get the truck. Trying to decide on a Toyota rim. I do not like any aftermarket rim. Never have on any car. Kinda weird but can't help it. Probably end up getting the New TRD rim with red emblem center cap. Anyone get the Fox Ultimate kit I speak of?

They don't include door sill protectors either. I was in the showroom and opened the door to an Inferno taco with predator steps and it already had scuffs on the paint in the door sills. Can you imagine after 3 to 5 years?

Giving the Yakima Bedrock and SkyBox16 a try for for lockable storage without getting a cap. Only extends about 16 inches past the edge of the tailgate, so hopefully it isn't too big of a nuisance. image.jpg

Definitely a regional thing, I've lived all over and heard them referred to as canopies, toppers, caps, campers, bed lids, and bed covers. However, I'm from the PNW and they'll always be canopies to me.

    Edit - oh, and shells.
