    If you have a chance, that'd be great. Other wise Co Taco has a shop recommendation for me. I have some time before the All Pro ships, they have to fabricate the skid plates. I may head up to Cheyenne to grab the arc welder from dad,and start practicing. Maybe I can get my skills up to par somewhat quickly. Thanks for the help!

    Remember with stick you'll need to tac everything first and stitch weld it together. The heat will pull on the steel. It would be better with a mig. It's possible with stick you'll just need to take your time.

    Definitely Listen to this. My bro and I were welding my bumper and completely forgot to stitch and jump to the other side of the bumper to let heat dissipate and ended up warping 1/4" thick square tubing and took a ton of time to fix. 1-2" max and go work someplace completely different until it gets back to where you can touch it again. If you have several places you can weld at a time you won't actually lose too much time, because you will be working while you wait.

    I plan to get some scrap to practice with. It's been a long time since I've done any welding. That's why I was thinking about finding someone who welds frequently to do it. The arc welder is in Cheyenne at dad's and it would be nice to brush up on my skills.
