Bilsteins to level out my tacoma

i have an 06 tacoma prerunner and was wanted to level out my front end. i was debating with a toytec leveling kit or the bilstein shocks. after deciding on the billys, can anyone tell me if that's all i need to lift the front end?

 

thats all you need and set them @ 1.75

 

so i don't need to install a spacer or anything? what about coilovers?

 

Let me know how it works out for you, I am thinking of doing the same thing. I am not sure if I want to go with a 0.85 or 1.75 setting.

Tsenekos, Do you think 1.75 would pick up the front too much without the TSB?

 

No it won't it should sit perfectly level.

 

So would you be installing all four billys or just the front's? I have a 2002 double cab prerunner and want to level it also.

 

I dont know I have mine at 1.75 and I have the TSB AAL and Im just about level I think the .85 setting would be better without the AAL.

 

I just did the Bilstein 5100s in the front of my 08 DC at the 1.75" height and I have the rear TSB and it's about 3/4" lower in the front than the back. It's about perfect though, if you ever haul anything, and it allows for good alignment. It was easy too--just borrowed a spring compressor from autozone and it took about an hour.

 

im pretty dure it will be ok the rear may be alittle higher with tsb done
