Lol let me clarify. Do you have any rubbing in the front? Body mount? Frame? Firewall? The rear would be easy to clear, just don't know how much it takes to get the front rub free. I've already flattened the pinch weld on the firewall and chopped the body mount.

Aluminum hands down, Aluminum is a softer material so scratches are usually deeper but that's really the only downfall. Having the option to put on/ remove the bumper by yourself easily is awesome

I had to cut everything my body mount had to offer, one day I'll relocate it. Pounded the living shit out of the wheel well, trimmed flares about 2" and fenders 1" it's really not that bad if you just spend a day doing it. Remove flares, remove coilovers so you can have it sit at full bump and lock and keep cutting/ pounding until your happy. And than cut your flares until your happy.

I still rubbed during my trip, I was just mindful of keeping away from full lock/tuck situations

They are the same connectors rigid uses besides the nifty rubber boot that goes over it and says rigid, I just want to have the ability to disconnect something without having to cut, and re-butt/heat shrink.

Im excited, I was going to buy bushwhacker flares but a couple of bad reviews had me wondering. I need to find pictures of how they actually mount since some have said they don't actually bolt on, rather have screws on the back so I'm not sure what to think now

I heard they use the same holes as stock flares. I'm not sure though... @DefconBrix may can answer your question

    Check the build thread.
Wel crap, I just answered this in a private message and can't view it to copy on my phone... But for those interested:

The hardware it comes with on the top is fake - it's just for show because they are designed to mount on the bottom. If you trim the flares, like I did, then the only option is to bolt the flares on the top. The majority of holes line up but not all of them - they didn't design them to mount that way so makes sense. Just buy longer bolts and add a small holes and bingo bango you have the look and now secure strength of a wider and stronger flare. Worth it!

Always good to have insight from someone who has done it firsthand, now if they could just explain that in the small print to lessen the confusion that would be great. Now I can get back to ordering them
