I found it exceptionally harder to workout in my garage than at the gym. My workout routine changed quite a bit. Not really for the worse or better but I was more comfortable doing lighter weight and trying more complex movements. When I graduate and finally have a place to myself I am going to have both the garage gym and a membership. That way I can still go heavy and hard in the actual gym but also work on form more in my garage.

I also work out alone but that's mainly because I am tired of going through "gym break ups". Currently trying to get my GF to kinda workout with me. More so planning our workouts so that we can help each other with a spot when needed but have different routines.

I just sold all of my garage gym stuff. Too much distraction at home for me to get motivated. When I go to the gym I'm able to just shut out everything else and focus the whole time I'm there. I also workout alone but that's due to a change in my work/gym schedule. I enjoyed working out with a partner but I got to the point where I was out gaining them and it would cause my workouts to lag since we would spend time changing weight or they would tire out quicker and need more rest than I like to take in my sets. it was nice having a spotter though for some of the heavier stuff. I've had to ask some of the attendants/trainers to help me out recently (especially when I was going through maxes to hit 1000# club) and that was a hassle sometimes to have to wait on them

Well, the closest commercial gym to me is about 50 miles away in the next county. There is a small gym in Monticello, but it's more for rehab type workouts.

Yea I saw that a little bit ago. As long as they're not like $150 I want to give them a try.

That's exactly what they cost if you do their kickstarter program . I think retail is expected at $200. I also read that with the kickstarter program they are doing a 1 year warranty but retail will probably have 30 day satisfaction.

Jelly of the vascularity. I'm at about 15% right now :pout:

New Years got my ass good. I layed in bed all day yesterday. Only thing I ate was some Zaxby's and dinner. Pretty sure I lost a good 15 lbs of muscle b/c of my hangover. About to go do legs in a few mins and get my life back together lol

I mostly likely won't either but if I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket...I might. If they retail at $200, then I can probably sell them at $150 online anyways and get my money back if they suck.

It would be really nice to have something that small, but I know one size fits all is really one size fits most.

Why are you doing this to yourself?!

A: drinking that much, knowing you'll lose gains and...

B: doing legs after a hang over.

That's the first time going that crazy since my bachelor party. Definitely won't be doing it again for a while. Doing legs today was punishment.

Leg day was good, though. Decided to max out on squats (last max out was 335). Got 365 today, which brings my total to around 1130 lbs. I wanted to do another one, but the guy spotting me told me to rack it and go for 385, which I had to get him to help me with. I think I'll be able to get it in a month or so. I would've liked to have gone down another 2-3 inches, but oh well. No fat jokes haha:

Haven't been to the gym in 9 days. Longest off period since I started lifting in 2011. As much as I don't want to go back to work tomorrow, I can't wait for Monday so I can get back to the gym

Same man I've been fighting of a head cold since wed. Haven't worked out since and it's killing me. Feeling better today and hopefully can get back into by doing legs tomorrow. Hope I haven't lost to much strength and stamina but I know it's a given.
