I recently purchased a Tacoma from Red Mccombs Toyota. I stopped by there Saturday to drop off some paperwork for my trade. I was blown away by this truck. Today I got to sit in it and ask a million questions. Shane has got to be the coolest sales manager I have ever met.

I want to do the same to my truck, but man he spent a TON of money on this thing.

    http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3808916

I am seriously thinking of doing all the things he did to his truck. It is just amazing.

The lift, the sound system and the train horns are all the best of the best. This is his 6th Tacoma and said he has had lifts and systems in all of his previous Tacomas and this is the best one so far.

I love this truck! The wide wheels and not sure I can do 10" of lift. He also scared me when he said they had to cut some frame so the tires don't rub when he "flexes". Whatever that means . . . It was already getting dark so I am going to stop by again on Wednesday.

I sure hope I don't have to cut the frame.

It looks decent. Can't say it's the best looking around though :p actually hardly modded compared to many on here.

No supercharger or re-gearing to go with the large tires is gonna hurt the power a good bit. I'm sure the audio system sounds great, but be weary of *********, they have some of the worst customer service around.

IMO body lifts are a waste and I don't like how they expose everything under the truck, some users on here have tires just as big with only suspension work. Body lift doesn't really help with clearance, just makes it easier for bigger tires.

I would also imagine he is going to get an assload of driveline vibrations. It also screws with the traction control system to have more than a 6 inch suspension lift, reportedly (if he has it, just saw it was an '07).

Basically, it's not bad but nowhere near the best, its also more on the 'rice' side of things than the performance side.

Finally, there is no way he spent "tons" of money on that. Maybe on the wheels/tires and getting ripped off by *********.

I really like this truck . . . I have been looking at lots of trucks here. Some have way to many modifications. I am going to take some pictures on Wednesday.

The train horns cost like $2K!! But you can hear them for at least a mile!

Well, if he had said check out this cool tacoma instead of this is the 'BEST looking, sounding and driving' tacoma it might have gone differently :p

It's also good so that he doesn't aspire to that truck as the 'ultimate' cause it's obvious he hasn't seen alot :p

Like I said though, it's not bad at all, it's just not much going on with it really. The 'driving' part of the claim is the most off base part.

"The train horns cost like $2K!! But you can hear them for at least a mile! "

If you have 2K to spend on a car horn then more power to ya.

Ehhh....Not my flavor for the sound system and the train horns (which may or may not be legal)

The lift is cool....All the rest is pretty vanilla for what we've seen done around here.

He's wrong. My Tacoma is the best looking and sounding Tacoma.

Well, um, cause its all mine!

Kidding aside, that is a nice Tacoma. But too big of a lift on a Tacoma in my opinion. And the sad thing, I bet that thing never leaves the pavement.
