I made 3 trips to Lowes (so far) today in the Tacoma.....While I was on the medical inactive list, the wife continued to add to the Honey-do list. Now that I feel like doing something significant, she hands me a couple pages of her list. :( Oh well.

I'm taking it as some sort of omen.....Beautiful sunny day here today! Cold and windy...but just the sort of day I needed to feel like part of the human race again.

Already experiencing that "over the limit" stuff! Done for the day. I was fine until I got down on the floor, crawled under the kitchen sink, then tried to get back up off the floor.

Gonna swing by work tomorrow for a couple hours just to evaluate the situation. Starting back monday, but I'm limiting that to NO LIFTING and reading emails/ordering supplies and material, plus a few million phone calls. I've got one more minor procedure on the 14th, then a minimum of 2 weeks before I can resume normal activities.

    Thanks!

Today is the first day it hasn't rained here in almost a week. I'm loving the warmer winter so far but the rain that has come with it needs to stop. No wonder it is said that Seattle has a higher suicide rate. Too much rain and no sun is driving me nuts

Finally put the TRD exhaust on. In the process I realized I do not like working on my back. Two hours later and I still feel like I am going to barf. The sound is nice, not too loud but noticeable. I can't say that I feel any more power and I have not had time to gauge MPG.tmp_30607-IMG_20160101_174301341-1109381728.jpg tmp_30607-IMG_20160101_174247728-770801597.jpg

You won't notice any change on either. I installed mine this past summer, the power gain and MPG gain is negligible if any. But I enjoy the sound of it and was the sole reason for purchase.

Do you have an automatic or manual transmission? I want a little noise over stock, but not sure how an exhaust sounds with an auto

auto. My last car was a stick with a J-pipe and it had an awesome sound. I am not nearly as overwhelmed with an auto. I can't make it sound awesome because I can't control shifting. I do still like it though.

Why would it sound any different with an auto?

it does not sound different but you control the sound with a stick. Rev higher to get a deeper sound, accelerate with gusto to get a louder growl through more of the rpm range. Not different but under control.
