Anyone else think that Stanford should have had MSU's place in the playoff

    In hindsight

    Clemson
    Bama
    Stanford
    OSU

Would have been much more interesting

Seems like last year it came down to 2 very good teams (ohio st and bama), and once again 2 very good teams in clemson and bama. This year, if stanford and ohio state were in the mix, i think it would have come down to 4 very good teams.

I understand why it didnt happen, but those are the 4 best teams. We can play hindsight all day, but i thought they had it right with the big 10 champ and big 12 "champ". Well, i was wrong and so was the committee. I love winning, but the cotton bowl was pretty fucking boring and non-competitive. My heart rate never increased during the game. I didn't even get pissed about any calls. It sucked.

The champ game is going to be a fun one to watch. Its always cool to see the contrasting styles of old school vs. fastball.

Mccafftery should have won the heisman. Kid is insane.

I bet if he wasn't on a west coast team more people would have actually watched him play and he would have won.

Also if his team made the playoff. The Heisman is just the award for the star player on the best team these days. And yes I'm saying Henry shouldn't have won it.

Over the last 3 years, this seems true. Manziel and RG3 weren't on championship teams.

To be fair though I did think Jameis and Mariota deserved it in those years. This is really the first year I felt the competition was super thin and it ended up like "nobody's really standing out, oh well give it the star player on a star team."

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
If McCaf and Stanford would have beat Oregon, I think he would have won it. But he was held to pretty pedestrian numbers against the Ducks.

It's sad when the best throw of the game for UGA is by a WR.

Penn State kind of whimpering here at the end... Why do they insist on throwing 5 yard passes in the middle of the field with no time outs? Turrible clock management.

No complaint out of that here. Did us the favor. Better clock management and we're probably in OT right now.

I was ready to start yelling fire the coaching staff.
