I paid 16k cdn (which right now would be about 13K US) in 2010 for my 2002 DC with 94K miles on it.

It felt like a lot at the time but it's been such a great truck with just a valve gasket needing replacement in the time I've owned it.

$2500--04 4x4 double cab TRD 125k with a new timing belt. Mint but with a hole in the frame. Previous owner ignored the recall thinking his was fine. Lol!

I swapped the frame with a nice one I had sandblasted and did my own frame off restoration while I was at it. I get asked regularly if it's for sale.

Got mine 1997 SR5 with 200k on it for $1500. Body and frame from what I can tell are in good shape. Interior is cherry. I think I stole it at the price I got. Profile pic is what it looked like when I picked it up.

Last week I purchased my black 2004 extended cab SR5 4x4 manual 2.7 with 137,000 miles for $8600.00. The inside was dirty but in good to better condition the outside needs a good buff and wax. The frame had been coated in 2010 but was flaking off towards the rear and now it is at the dealer waiting for a replacement frame. Unfortunately that is about a 6 week wait.

Overall I think I got a good deal.

I paid 13,999 for a 1999 back in 06/2000 with 9900 miles.Probably the best vehicle I have owned without any issues.Sold it in 03/2005 with 129,000 miles for 9,000.It went in 2 days.Used that for a down payment on a 2005 GMC Sierra regular cab that had constant issues. Many trips to the dealer to address the crappy int. steering shaft and noisy slip yoke.Dealer would just grease it up and say good to go.It turned out to be a oil burner(5.3)and was told"normal".A quart about every 1600 miles is normal according to GM.So 3 quarts avg for every OCI.I never used the oil life monitor, that was laughable.

You bought a one year old 1999 Tacoma for $14,000? I assume it was single cab 4 cylinder non-4x4? Otherwise the guy who sold it was a complete moron.

I bought my current 2000 TRD Sr5 4x4 new in October 1999... for just under $23,000 out the door (I think it was like $20,800).

Of course it looked like this when I bought it. I had to put it back together. I already had a front end from a '98. I made the '04 into a '98/'04 hybryd.

In late 2012 I paid $10,000 and that included TTL for an 02 Doible Cab 4x4 with 149,000.
    They were asking $12,995.

It is the truck in avatar.4x4 2.7 auto xtra cab SR5.Dealer marked it down to 14,999,and I offered 13,999 on the spot.It was on the lot over 30 days,so they just wanted to move it.The Jeep Comanche Eliminator(1990) I was driving at the time blew the rear main seal(common on high miles 4.0).Too much rust on the body to put anymore cash into it.
