Orange County CAF's: up to no good

Hey everyone I'm trying to figure out which day works best for everyone to go to Hungry Valley within the next week or two, PMs incoming! Hopefully we can keep a group together

 

I am going tomorrow night. It isn't as crowded on Sat. generally. Last couple times I went it wasn't crowded at all.

 

anyone local have access to a bead blaster? my dad wants to blast this then paint it for our garage. came out of the wood shop of Orange High School.

Wd40 and some elbow grease with a steel wire brush would do it better justice... Grease it up and clean it at the same time

 

Give me about a month or so and I'll have access to a sand blaster at the college. They're in the middle of a move right now though.

Also, can I ask how he got it?

 

TACOMAWORLD PEEPS!!! Me and few other buddies are going on a camping/shooting/off roading trip from January 7th to January 10th. We are going to Jawbone Canyon, here is our meeting spot for anybody who wants to join at a later date...please let me know before the 7th so i know what time you will be there so i can come pick you up from this spot...

There will be lots of shooting, so if you are coming, bring your guns and plenty of ammo and things to shoot at!! if you are able to join us on the 7th and would like to caravan out with us, we are leaving Redondo Beach at 6a.m. let me know a few days before the 7th to make an official meet up spot. Everyone is welcome to come!! if you plan on camping, bring clothes for cold nights and cold days, as the weather may be in high 30s through the low 40s at night, and probably in the 50s and 60s during the day... i am hoping for a little warmer weather, but I'm not taking any chances of not packing cold weather clothes.

sounds good thanks, going to ask if he wants to leave it as is, like Jim advised, or re-paint it. I am not 100% sure, but I think he got it from a guy that may have taught at the school at some point.

 

weather report changed a bit since I've been on, looks like it will be raining Thursday though saturday, but we are still going, I'm going to have an easy up so we can still shoot if it is raining all day.. and temperatures will be a bit colder, more like low 30s at night.... and 40s and 50s during the day, its going to be one very cold trip, but theres no stopping us hahaha

Always, i hate to too. because i like to enjoy the places i go, i don't trash them, even in the spot we go to, there is a designated "Let the trees live" safe spot right at our camp, and oddly enough its lasted quite a few years with all those retards out there that don't give a shit about chopping trees and shrubs down. i always bring my own firewood also so i don't have to take down trees and shrubs. always pack out more than you actually bring in.
