Got my cv swap finished up.. had to wait on a new outer dust shield and a (missing:confused:) splined washer. Wasn't as hard as I thought it was.. definitely learned a few things. Since I did both sides at the same time it took me like 3-4 hours to swap the first one and probably a quarter of the time to do the second one because I knew what i was doing by then.:violent: lol

Looks good. Now you can attach curtains, quick on quick off, solar of otherwise. Put strips of the "hook" side of Velcro on the curtains.

Thanks. Still waiting for it to dry (Steam for molding and starch for good measure). Hopefully glue it all down on Monday. Install the shell Tuesday.

I do plan to make something like that next. Will do snaps, with pull tabs. Then maybe rollup with a strap to hold it up. Plan to make the rear windows piece go all the way to the bed, hopefully add a little more insulation from air coming in. I have to get this part accomplished before I start the next part. Plus the idea is still in my head, once I start to actually figure it out, I think it will change a few times.

Finished my topper rack today. Eventually I'll build a matching, smaller version for the cab.

Thanks! I think it'd easily support the weight of a RTT, or some bikes, gas, spare tire, recovery equipment... Or all the lumber I can desire to haul... I don't expect to overload the topper any time soon. I may build some internal tie-ins to run down to the bedrails before long for peace of mind when I've got some extra weight up there offroad, but otherwise I think it'll be plenty strong for my purposes.

Short answer, probably 2-300lbs around town. 150-200 offroad.

I Didn't know you did decals! How about a trade for the two fender flares and 4 mudflaps for a set of bedside decals? I took off the flares and flaps and will send pics to you tomorrow!
