Thanks for the advice, man. Last night, I rebooted my machine to see if that would make a difference, but it didn't. Like I said, it had been off for almost two weeks.

    Ran CC cleaner.

Did a fresh/clean install of the latest NVIDIA driver set. Even rolled back to the previous driver to see if that made a difference.

    No dice.

I know the card itself is getting power but maybe the SLI bridge somehow went kaput. Dunno. Figuring out what happened is my morning priority. Besides, I need to install two more SSD's that were purchased during Black Friday so this is a good excuse to do everything at once.

Let me know your thoughts on the mod please.

I'm curious as well. Which mod did you use? I tried to install a settlement size mod, but it wouldn't work for some reason. I gave up after about five minutes and ended up doing the weapon drop game glitch.

As a guy that maintains, fixes and builds PCs professionally and as a side business, if I were doing new drives, new GPU setup/moving around etc I'd go ahead and do a fully fresh Format C rebuild. It only takes a couple of hours and it's something I usually do annually anyhow.

Nowadays, with the OSes being on SSDs and storage being spindled, it is SILLY fast and easy to install, patch, make an image, and have that image be ready to play in one afternoon. From then on with that rig, a 'rebuild' takes less than an hour in real time and you're covered.

    But that's me...I'm weird :)

FYI, I would also check the power leads to both GPUs, and test each GPU individually. Had one of them gotten a power spike or brownout, it could have damaged it.

I headed over to NexusMods and grabbed this one:

    http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1062/?

Easy to get running and remove if you want. I've only used it on three settlements so far. Like I said, I'll be stressing them up a bit this weekend so I'll get back to you. Bluesin is a long time modder over there so when I saw his name on it, I pretty much know it was clean and did exactly what it says it does.

I don't think its weird at all. I certainly appreciate the thoroughness of your troubleshooting/advice.

Good, someone figured out that it's loot heaven. I stopped placing water purifiers at 500 water but I'm sure you could fit more than that in the west side lagoon.

+ for Nexus Mods. Used it for Skyrim as well. The things these guys make are awesome as long as your PC can run it.

I'll be damned. I just tried, and sure enough. Sorry for the bad info, @TashcomerTexas.

Anybody that has unlocked Spectacle Island have issues with using a human provisioner for that trade route ?

I set up my trade route with a human settler and it worked because I got access to all the wood in my other linked settlements but I've been reading online that people say you need to use a ghoul or a Mister Handy provisioner because a human will die from radiation crossing over

I use it a lot just for convenience's sake, but I also DON'T use it a lot as I like to wander around and explore.

University Point is where I load up on Institute Weapons and cells to give my provisioners/settlers
