Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Doing some MX to the truck... and realized I have some things to change. Brakes need changed soon. I also have what I believe is a bad U-joint. Squeaks in reverse every revolution it sounds. Could also be my carrier bearing.

Also have a grind from front left axle... Thinking my needle bearing is going out. That one I am not sure if I am willing to do by myself.

Needle bearing? You mean wheel bearing? Does it get more groney when weight transfers to that side? I just got my replacement wheel bearing, waiting to change it until I get my new CV's. I don't feel like breaking shit down twice.

Needle bearing. It's inside the axle. Have to remove CV, and then get a special tool to remove it. I'll find the link in a second.

Can't find the removal thread. But, the grind is coming from inside the transfer case. Not too loud yet, but it is present.

Try making the noise then switching it into 4wd, if it goes away it's the needle bearing

I'll check it again tomorrow. I would love to get the truck on a lift and find out which u joint is going. Maybe I'll head to base one of these days and do it.

Ahhh, I'm unsure of what this needle bearing you speak of is.

    Wheels and tires ON!
SCS SR 8s 17x8.5. 275/70/17 KO2s. 3" lift. Slight rub on front wheel well at bottom, suspect may have to do CMC once I get sway bar off.

Needle bearing was shockingly easy. Just make sure you get the removal tool. If we ever have a mod day I'd be happy to help out. I've gotten pretty fast at tearing the front apart haha

Do what Brian said. When it's making the noise switch to 4wd and it should go away instantly. If you let this problem persist you'll end up destroying your CV seal and dumping your front diff out on the ground at work

Do you have the tool? I'm wondering if I can steal it from someone to do it... I've gotten good at removing wheel bearings. I'm a little scared of removed the cv though.

I drove by @mutilatedjak yesterday evening in Skykomish on my way home from Steven's Pass.

Which road did you turn off of 2 to get past the traffic? I always turn on Kellogg Lake Road, but somehow you were in front of me at the light when I got back to 2.

Happy new years guys! After a solid year of planning and parts hoarding it's time to put it all together.

On the topic of diffs... mine need to go in asap. The job looks straight forward but I'll take any tips to ensure things go smooth on mod day.
Pulling axles is the only part that looks like it could become a pita but I'm sure other things will present themselves when I'm in there.

    @twalchlii1 Truck looks great man!

    FS- Cheap!
4 General AT2s just over 1/4" tread left. Razor siped, rotated every 5k, perfect wear pattern. 265/70/17 P rated, but tough tires! In good shape, 1 tire has a small nick near the bead, no big deal. ( didn't have a quarter, so it's a .50 Euro, about the same size)
4 Sport alloys. A few scuffs. Pic is worst one. Great candidates if someone wants to Derp. Or if u wheel for real. Have center caps, and lugs, no valve stems.
    PM me for price.
Super special deal for folks on this thread!
