sorry bout the caps. loud rubbing/grinding noise with beeping coming from dash as i hear the grind /rubbing. i have looked all over for any place it could possibly be rubbing and nothing?? It mostly does this when I turn right at 35-55 mph. When it starts the beeps/grinding/rubbing my truck stops tracking well to the right almost like my tires are lying down but they are not. I have a ultimate lift from toytec, LR UCA's and spdertraxx with 285's. and again i have lookedat it good there are no rub spots anywhere????
where would the beep-beep=beep be coming from?? thanks guys.:confused::confused::confused:

no the 4x4 light not blinking, real obvious beeping and it seems to loose grip a little and kinda stops turning until the beeps/grinding/rubbing noise stops then all is perfect again. going around a decent curve with oncoming traffic is a little scary:eek:

I believe what your hearing is what happens when the slip indicator come on and the abs brakes are working. Has something to do with the traction/stability control system.

did that too. pressed it so it shows lsd auto and the traction light shows off. hell i have tried it both ways and it keeps doing the same shiznit. My caster is 2.6, so great control no floating etc...just this one issue. I believe however i have noticed the traction light blinking when i hear the beeps, but we are talking about dry pavement 40mph, zero traction loss until it starts its shit??

    :D
meaning something is wrong with my slip indicator/abs/traction control???
because in a very very fair turn at 35-45mph dry pavement it should not think there is a traction situation right??

think i'll drive it to dealership have a mechanic ride with me and scare the hell out of him bc it will do it and i can make it do it on demand!!!

You might check both wheels and make sure all sensor wires are connected.

Its the TRAC kicking in. TRAC kicks in when one wheel turns faster or slower than the other wheels. You cant turn it off over 35mph. Even when its off as soon as you hit 35 it kicks off. Ive been hearing about this alot with lift and 33s on 09-10s. When you go around corners your outside wheel naturally turns faster than your inside wheel. With bigger tires the outside wheel might turn enough faster than the inside wheel that the TRAC kicks in (thinking your slipping) TRAC is pretty sensitive and sharp corners at 35+ with a lift and 33s will activate it appearently.

No the system is working perfectly fine its not calibrated for 33s so the dealer will laugh at you and tell you to piss off because33s and lift equals warranty void on parts affected by them.

    :notsure:
...sorry thats how it is. When you had stock lift and stock wheels/tires you didnt have this problem did you?

no i did not, your right. And my truck also looked like a low rider fagmobile, so i'll put up with since now it makes me hard everytime I look at it, the hell with warranty crap, when you start messing with suspension set ups etc your mostly going to wear shit out sooner so we are replacing it anyway...no sweat. thanks for the info, it does it though at 35mph and above though in the curves. never below 35mph. And your saying TRAC turns off above 35mph?????

I could be wrong here, but after reading about this same problem happening on some other threads I believe there was some sort of wheel sensor mentioned that needs to be checked...not sure where though.

oh got ya now, well someone should figure out how to turn off trac then bc wow can get a little hairy at times in curves for those with lifts and 33+ tires which 95% of owners here pretty much have, with some exceptions of course.
