Anyone in the colder/humid region noticed additional condensation on their windshield from the inside? With recent temp fluctuation, I seem to notice more condensation inside my windshield in comparison to my wife's Subaru outback...

Yep. Had the exact same thing happen to me on Monday this week. Dont know why. This is my first vehicle with all weather mats and I have noticed the water from my shoes tends to stay around for quite a long time on those mats. Maybe that could be part of it? But what do i know :notsure:

I had a little bit on my front windshield. Only noticed cause it wasn't going away after I used the windshield wiper. It only happened once so far though.

Same here. I really notice it on my windshield when it is foggy out. Or when the dew point and the actual air temperature are the same. I keep a roll of paper towels in my truck to wipe the inside of the windshield. When getting out of my truck and I see water on my Husky Weather Beaters, I'll sop the water up with a paper towel.

Thank goodness the condensation is not a everyday thing.

I use a couple of decent sized sorbent packs placed incognito throughout my truck to help with this issue..seems to work :bored:

I've noticed it a couple of times. Appears mostly above the defrost vents in the dash.

yeah that is exactly where mine was too. Not really a big deal. but if it covered the whole windshield, it would take forever to get rid of with the defroster

if there is condensation, there is water somewhere in your cab. it is most likely pooled in your floor liners, or maybe just really humid air when you closed the doors.

All four of my Toy trucks (86, 91, 99 and 04) have had a tendency to fog the windshield more quickly than my other cars. I wouldn't expect the new one to be much different.

I only notice it if it's humid out and I leave the air selector on defrost.

When it gets cold enough up here in Canada this happens frequently. Doesn't matter which vehicle at the time I've had, I've noticed this before. Nothing new. So far hasn't been cold enough for my Taco, but I assume once it plummets far enough and if there was some water in my mats from earlier that I may see the same occur.

Don't lose any sleep over it.

Thank you for easing my mind. This is my 1st Toyota pick-up and I never had to deal with it in other trucks I have owned. One thing about it a mans windshield will always be clean, I take a paper towel and wipe it off once it melts.

I like the Tacoma better than the 15 Colly I traded in. It had a issue with rain water getting past the door sills. I did not believe GM's lies and got rid of it before the doors had time to freeze shut. Never again will I own a chevy.

    Mostly stuff I built.
Cheap desiccant... Sock full of oil dry under seat. Have a 2001 Dodge Ram and the defrost sucks on those trucks almost as much as the factory headlights do. On top of the fact that the ac compressor runs in the defrost mode on them makes clearing the windows near impossible but with a improvised desiccant bag under both front seats it is a non issue now. Also you have an emergency spill kit if you should ever need it on the trail.

    Bone Stock.Why mess with perfection?Except...
I wonder if the condensation is an indication of a tightly sealed truck.

Yes; more so than I've seen on any vehicle.
It was so heavy, it collects on the dot matrix and drips down giving me streaks.
Only happened a couple times, after a rain and temperature swing, so I've been more mindful of leaving a lot water in the floor mats.
Still fogs up, but not nearly as bad.

i am wondering if somewhere behind the firewall there is a big gap that would be causing condensation. I know my Jeep used to do that due to drain plugs under the floor boards.
