    It has air bags in the rear so that's one more thing I'd have to change out but It's the same platform. Just nothing says GX 470 on it. I sent a question to Metal-tech about it.

    Yeah actually I've had my predited on since the beginning of December and haven't had any problems. Have it up to highway speeds a few times a wrrk with it ad well. Changed how I drive a bit and I've been averaging 13.5 mpg with the pre filter. Might take it off for a tank or two and see if there's any difference.

    I use it for when there's heavy rain or snow. That way there no chance of a heavy accumulation of either snow or rain and the airway will remain open. I've never had a wet air filter with the pre filter on.

    Yep I soaked my filter driving in the rain a few times before I got the snorkel. The filter has stayed dry since then.

    You don't really need it, but once the rain is coming down hard you have to be cautious and avoid puddles which is funny because your driving around on 35s and you have to be cautious of puddles but its better than hydro locking and being out a motor

    Yup I was actually throwing a misfire on all cylinder code, truck was shaking bad at idle. Checked my filter and sure enough it was soaked
