This is my favorite thread so far! Especially now that I have a kid- I have to be a cheap ass.

The other cool thing is that no-one really busts balls for what people are doing to their rigs in here. Nothing like doing something on the cheap, being happy about it, and having some douche nozzle rip you apart because he lives in mom's basement and can go blow $2000 on his truck anytime he wants to.

    In progress...
It's probably been done before, but I did not wanted to go through 104 pages to find out so here it is:
I had some problems with my new shell keeping snow against the back window of the cab and blocking the view:
    2015-12-31 10.34.58.jpg

So I removed all this white stuff and installed 10$ worth of pipe insulation.

    2015-12-31 11.17.23.jpg

I had some insulation left so I went all around the windows.
Guess what? If I open the back window of the cab, I now have a heated shell!

I need to rig myself a flag pole or two. Kinda makes me wish our trucks had the holes in the tops of the bed sides like the Fords and Dodges do, then I could just stick a pole in it.

So do the bed lights turn off when the front lights are turned on? It sounds like they go on with the parking lights.
