Going in and out of workshop mode reset the highlighted objects for me , you could try that too

 

So I got f'n tired of these attack all of the sudden.

So, I spent the last couple hours upgrading ALL my settlements. With the exception of Spectacle Island, which I just got his morning and haven't even started with on this playthrough, all 22 others have 20+ food, 20+ water, 20+ beds, artillery, and 200+ turret based defense.

That's not a typo there.

I'm a big fan of "Layered Bullets of Doom". Like this:


While I was building this up, I had a deathclaw come rolling up, all stomping and screaming.

He had time to....well, knock over one of my settler farmers.

The spin up time assisted in it's lifespan. 3 seconds.

The farmer got back up and kept farming.

Though I might have gotten a little out of hand at the Castle with the 'remove limit' mod



The up side is, I got two full levels from construction XP alone!

 

I'm doing a concrete pillar core skyscraper build on Spectacle Island

 

I'm still doing the preliminary designs in my head.

I don't know what exactly I'll do on spectacle, but it'll be big when I build it!

 

Apparently you can build 10 stories high if you build at beach level , I'm planning on a 10 storey skyscraper that is in the ocean accessible by the wooden bridge sections from shore

I've done a 5 storey test build already out there

 

Fuck me. I fell into the hole at dunwich borders with my power armor on. Loading last save. Good thing I got the breath under water perk. This i noticed a tunnel near the bottom of the hole

 

Just picked up a rifle again in this playthrough, up to this point I had only used handguns. All I can say is screw handguns, why the hell did I even bother with them. The .308 freezing sniper fully upgraded is amazing, I can actually hit things more than 10 feet away!

 

Anybody use the Alien Blaster pistol ?

 

I mess around with it. Going to covert it to fusion cells when I run out of AB ammo I think.

 

I have had it for a while but don't pack it around with me

 

It's usually a 2 shot kill on ghouls

 

My current shotgun is one in close or 2 at a bit further distance

 

I found it but haven't used it yet

 

The only thing is the the rounds travel slowly if that makes sense. You have to aim where the enemy is going instead of right at it.

 

Yeah, I converted mine to fusion cells at the expense of 1 less damage. It's not as powerful as fallout 3 where it was more obscure and an "Easter egg"

 

I'm going on a weight diet , I find myself packing around way too many weapons / grenades / mines etc

 

Ya I used to carry like 5 weapons at all times. Now I only carry my sniper and shotty (before I loot stuff)

 

I carry a combat rifle , sniper rifle , shotgun , missle launcher , gauss rifle , institute rifle , pistol and flare gun plus a melee weapon and assorted grenades and mines

 

I like to carry at least one weapon of most ammo types, I used to average 248/360 lbs now ever since I started carrying a 50 lbs quad launcher and finally upgraded my heavy armor I stay at 302/395 which doesn't leave much for junk.
