You referring to the rear shocks? 530 extra for just the rears? If it's the rears, I'd go with the bilsteins. I don't think you'll notice a difference

The link doesn't take me to a kit, so I can't see what you're looking at. The extended travel allows for one additional inch of down travel. Other than that, the same shock. I'm not too sure about what you'll need for long travel. But from what I see on here, the guys running lt get all new everything, and sell their aftermarket uca's and coil overs to help fund all the new lt stuff, so you might have to do that when the time comes.

The TCA/King setup is only going to give me 2"...as was the Icon (though I heard in reality, the Icon may have only given me 1.5"). I've seen several people posting pics of their ProComp 3" lifts and they looked great...but..when I asked my install guy about it, he expressed caution about going 3" because it's maxing out certain angles (which I can't remember what he was talking about) and as I'm building my truck to actually play with instead of just look at, functionality and durability is important to me.

So here's the setup I plan on running, let me know if you think there will be any issues..

OME 3" with spacers (supposed to get a full 3" out of this lift with spacers) and then deaver AAL in the rear.

my intentions are to run an 18x10 -24 offset with a 285/65 tire. but don't want any rubbing. the truck is only going to be used for mild offroad (driving to fishing holes or camp spots) and no trailing or anything like that. will I be golden or do I need to go to a 18x9 -12?

Can anyone chime in on how much lift 885s have been giving on the 3rd gen? Not sure if I want a aal or a new leaf pack for it to sit level. Thanks

I've read members running the spacer and getting a full 3 inches.

I'd say 2.75 since it's only a 1/4 inch. I don't know this for sure. I'll try to find the guy who has this lift.

page 31 somebody quoted a post on a guy running this lift. I talked to him through messaging. and said he used the 885 with a spacer and 2" AAL.

Well I didn't read all 36 pages before this, but the first thing you need to do before lifting any Tacoma is to be able to bench press 4,000 lbs.

I don't think I'll be lifting mine anytime soon.

On my DCSB 4x4 it gave me 2.25" after settling and currently the hub to fender measurement is 22.75". Initial measurements post lift was 2.75" and hub to fender was 23.25". I'm running it with a 1.5" AAL and it sits pretty leveled. Hope that helps.

still shopping around and researching like others. I noticed that Nitto trail grapplers come in 285/70 in C rated and wondered if anyone had tried those. Also if people are clearing 285/70 with no problem, could we squeeze a 295/70? Looking at either the toyo open county MT or the nitto trail grappler.

Just wanted to go over my possible build with you guys before I commit. Let me know if you see anything that won't work.

    OME 887 x2
    Billstien 5100 x2
    Diff drop
1/4 top plate spacer for driver side
    LR UCA x2
    Billstien 5125 x2
    1.5" rear blocks or AAL

Now my question is to get the full 3" up front is it possible to add a 1" coil spacer leveling kit or would that be overkill? I want to keep billstiens set at 0

You'll probably have to go a notch up on front like I did. Same set up.

I was going to Originally but I was reading an OME thread in the suspension forum and they were saying you shouldn't.

Yeah I read that too. 887 is just a little longer than 885 I believe. I personally don't think it's a big deal but that's just me. I am just a licensed CT mechanic. What do I really know
