Jus took delivery on my TRD OR AC AUTO. Will post pics when able, just totally stock right now. Trip home from dealer was 100 miles, 55- 65, a lot hilly, mountainous even. Extremely pleased with it, in spite of all the negative rap... experienced nothing but excellence. Meter at home read 20.1mpg.

"This wheel is designed for use with OE Flat-Seat lugnuts (90942-01058), sold separately." I guess I should have said this is the only part number for the lug nuts on these wheels. I wanted a full set for these wheels and my stock set.

To be honest I have no idea. I'll have to dig out my stock lugs and look. Do the stock lugs have the washer on them?

Those things are bad ass I can't wait to pick one up its hard to trade in a truck that's so reliable lol but those new tacomas are amazing especially with the different off road modes

Forget trading for a raptor lol no way tacomas are way more reliable and are build like a block of iron unbreakable

Just brought home my first Tacoma. White DCLBOR with Premium Tech/JBL. Had to travel some distance to pick it up, but it was well worth the adventure. Took a scenic route back home through a twisty paved road on a mountain ridge line. Best way to get acquainted with any vehicle's steering abilities. Overall I'm really impressed with this truck and I can't wait to take wheeling. Ordering mud flaps and all weather mats tonight. Can't wait to customize and make it my own. Thanks to all on this forum for sharing your wisdom.

Here are some pics I took on the way home. These were taken on the 154 and Camino Cielo above the hills in Santa Barbara. Also crossed paths with a DBLB Sport, if your on here, nice truck and thanks for the wave.

Nice truck...that is probably my ideal build. Which mud flaps and all weather floor mats are you going with? I wish toyota still had the mud flaps from the 1st gen that weren't plastic. Also you mind me asking what kind of deal you got, if you ended up paying below msrp?

going with Weather tech mats and Rockblokz universal flaps.

Well I searched all over california and nevada for over a month. This build is hard to come by at the moment and the dealers are aware of that. Here in Los Angeles county most of the dealers where asking $3-5k over MSRP. I picked this one for MSRP, which was not what I wanted, but its either MSRP, paying over MSRP or waiting 6+ weeks to special order. I got tired of waiting. Surprisingly I found (2) of these exact builds, one in Northern California and this one near San Luis Obispo.

Nice, yeah I figured most people are paying msrp or higher for tacomas. It's not the end of the world, it is a toyota after all and still has one of the best resale values. Congrats on purchase and good luck!

Great to hear you got what you wanted! We didn't do much better than MSRP and we still had to wait a month before it arrived after spending 3 months searching! I had a 110 mile drive home at 10pm on a school night! I'm glad you had a better first adventure. We have taken it moderately off road. The first trail we got on was one that my wife said was a beginner trail. She said keep going, it's a green dot... I was in 4lo and going through some sketchy stuff and real steep uphills. She then saw the drop off we had to do after climbing a hill and realized the map was upside down and that we weren't on a green dot trail.... It did very well. We lifted a tire while turning around up there but the truck did perfect, even without MTS turned on.

I love my truck! Haven't driven it in a few days, but....

When I talked to the folks in Santa Maria a few months back, they weren't interested in discounting below MSRP. However they are still better than the dealer in San Luis Obispo where they wanted $2k over MSRP.

Transition in progress. Brought the '16 home 30 Dec. The '02 is sold, need to remove the navigation, and the rest. I love the 02....157k miles on it with 12 trips back and forth to Alaska, and all over the west.

Very very delighted with the upgrade. Love the A/T, and the P and T. Bed liner, mud flaps and rain deflectors on order. Likely will install Sumosprings for the trailer tongue weight.

It is an access cab, and wow, do the compliments fly in...

    More to come.
