There's a mod to lower the noise of anything you build in settlements including generators.

I know most of you regular posters on this forum are much higher level than I am (level 13) but I just bought a combat rifle .45 in vault 81 called overseers guide or something. This weapon just broke the game for me, I am running around boston like I own the place!

Just putting this out there just in case anyone else is a complete bonehead like me, who spent all kinds of time fast traveling to markets to buy specific ammo. Set up a tier 3 weapons stand at your most popular settlement. I set up a stand at the drive in and that one stand usually has more ammo than goodneighbor and diamond cities vendors combined. Hell of a lot easier than fast traveling and going through the same dialogue lines over and over.

I have it as well. Very over powered, especially at level 13.

While I haven't seen that particular instrument of freedom dispensing, I have noticed that particular weapons are godlike. It reached the point where I increased the difficulty setting to Survival. For me, Spray n Pray is my go to weapon, even again the higher tier Mirelurks and other armored critters.

I've begun to go this as well. I'm sure at some point I'll regret not scrapping the armor and shifty-sheckle pipe weapons, but for now it isn't worth it.

    -edit-

Mind you, I pick fights and kill people just to kill 'em.

Thats what I'd normally do but I hardly ever find .44 on anyone. And that's my main ammo.

I hate mirelurks and deathclaws and any other enemy without a weapon.

I pretty much only use .308 and 10mm, occasionally .50

I've been starting to move into the .308 ammo more. I found a legendary sniper that does pretty well with it even without the rifle perks. Seems a bit strange that my 88 damage sniper one shots things a lot more often than my 268 damage .44 revolver. Even at close range.

I hate the fact that I'm the type of person who sees Spoiler Alert and immediately reads the spoiler than looks up a play through on YouTube.

That guy is seriously whacked haha. Did you find the bobblehead down there? I walked right by it on my first play through

I was on my way out when the a glimpse of blue caught my eye. The body of a Raider had all but obscured it and I just happened to notice the sliver of the bobble head that was left exposed.

Did you let Pickman kill an Raider himself? If you haven't, let him and watch.

Yeah I let him kill one, it was something to see that's for sure. I love the AI fights in this game. If you ever get a prompt to defend a checkpoint you can usually watch a pretty good fight go down if you don't get involved in it.
