Fuel Filter?

    I don't think they ever put the fuel filter in the tank. AFAIK, the filter for the 5vz-fe has always been on the frame.

    Thats what I thought, but its puzzeling as to why its not where it should be. :confused:

    Shrockworks Front/Rear Bumpers.
    if its the 2.7L then chances are your fuel filter is below the intake like mine.. if so goodluck changing that damn thing :D it was a PITA on mine small hands help , and a gasp* body lift will definately help..

    He said he has a 3.4L in earlier posts.. but yeah, from what I hear changing it out on the 4 banger is a beyotch!

    DAM! Did he say it was a V6? You are right, if its the 2.7, its a pita. Doable, but just awkward.

    Yes, it should, if the filter is OEM. I believe it will look different if it's an aftermarket filter though.

    Your fuel filter is not in the tank, only 2nd gen Tacos are. Your filter is located along the inside frame rail right under the driver's seat.
