What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I see a harbor freight creeper with 3 location headrest!

 

Just a refresh on the front for my 05. New light housings and refinish grill and lower in bed spray

 

No problem they were 616 they are the P rated ones. Got 1000 miles on them now and love them so far.

 

Knocked off the top layer of road crud and muck at the local car wash!

 

Drove it to gainesville to get some gainesville exclusive food

 

And what would that have been?

 

Copper monkey on university, amazing burgers.

 

Installed the Jumper LED's (dome, map, and license plate). I didn't short anything out and all lights lit up, and they are certainly brighter than stock lights. I will find out tomorrow night how much brighter.

It was about $3200 with tax, but when you get the best you also have to pay the best... I love the set up though. King really knows what they're doing when it comes to performance suspension. I'm going out this evening to really put the shocks through the ringer. I'll post an update sometime tomorrow on my build thread about how happy I am with this set-up.

Tom and Betty's on Roosevelt Blvd was a great place for burgers and they have a BLT that is awesome

As for me, I spent most of yesterday and this afternoon finishing/fixing what I paid a local shop to install. Will speak with them tomorrow afternoon

The console cover is made from marine carpet cut/folded/stapled. That's where my little Westie sits shotgun.

And I did a seat lift on the drivers side:


2 - M10 x 1.25 x 50mm bolts (8.8 grade)
2- 1/2" x 5/8" x 1" steel spacers
4 - washers from my washer bin

Total - $5

And to keep our butts comfy warm in the winter, although I do have heated seats:


The rear headrest covers do not fit at all. They do not cover the headrest, nor do they have slots to accommodate the fold down levers. The center headrest cover looks like a shower cap. I'm phoning them tomorrow.

 

Installed a new sticker. And searched for hvac bulbs

 

Tromped around in some unusual snow for the area. 2WD bad, 4WD goooooood.
