    They said they'd do it. I've got to head up there after the holidays and meet with Curtis. If they decide they can't do it then SOS is the next stop. (1hr vs 3 1/2hr drive)

    I didn't either. But his comments made me assume he was saying they do top notch work on drivetrains and body work, although I knew he didn't mean that.
    I'm with you. It's not a hard job especially if you have a shop that only works on vehicles all day but as we said, I didn't know they even did that stuff. I'm sure they wouldn't offer to do it if they didn't think they could handle it competently

    Yup... I don't have many pictures of it stock, this one was just like mine minus Prerunner vs 4x4 but same height, same grille.. we ge used to our trucks and almost seems normal till we see a stock one we remember. I met with a guy past weekend that picked up my Icon MT and met him with my Scion, I thought his truck was taller than my truck siting on 33's and later met him with my truck to realize mine was a little taller.

    I'm on about 7" of lift and 33's and I get so use to it that it seems small to me. Then I pull up next to a stock truck and realize how big mine is.

    I've been going through this thread checking out all the tubbing. Nice work!

    I really need to do that to my truck just to clear my 35's. I can't even imagine 37's or larger. But I don't have the guts to do it myself. Haha!

    Are there shops that can do this? What are you all doing with the electrical on the inside?

    What tubbing? Only 1 truck I've seen that's tubbed the front.

    You don't come off as a dick, but you should read my post again. I have a feeling you're adding too many assumptions, so to clarify, I would like to tub my firewall to clear my 35" tires. I know they aren't 37's as the post is intended for, but there is not that much information about tubbing in the 35" thread. I know that the cab mount should be relocated, metal should be cut, pro-cautions should be taken when welding so fires don't consume the truck, and everything should be properly sealed after the fact.

    When I posted "I don't have the guts to do it myself", I meant, "I probably don't want to take this on myself and leave it to someone who has or is experienced enough to take it on."

    My last question from my post, "What are you all doing with the electrical on the inside?" was in reference to this photo:

    You can see that there are clips on the blue harness guide that went into the firewall. Is the harness just left there after tubbing? Does it rattle? Is there additional reinforcement?

    I hope that clears things up.

    I didn't do any additional reinforcement, I just left it like it was and it doesn't rattle or make any noises
