Hello Oahu tw fam I just got my alignment done at Lex Brodies and was wondering if this will pass recon truck has 2.5 lift in front and 1.5 in the rear l

 

Well probably not to be honest... They look for everything to be green... Youre out on your front left steering axis inclination.... You should've told them you have recon and you need an all green numbers sheet.. If they weren't willing to make that may be assed out...

 

They didn't even look at my numbers. They just saw I had an alignment and called it good. Then they walked around the truck with a measuring stick looking at your bumper height. It was pretty painless. Just bring cash, I think it's $15.

 

Everything needs to be green within factory specs to pass recon.

 

I overlooked the red, Miles and Jason are right.

 

My sheet was looked at... Albeit not very long, but it was looked at and I know a guy that failed on alignment.... If you're going to kapahulu for recon, I would want to pass first go around and def not fail for something like alignment esp after you just paid a bill to get it right... If they said that they couldnt get everything lined up correctly, ask them to fudge you a sheet to pass... That would drive just fine but you may fail

 

Yeah I was thinking the same I told the guy at Lex Brodies and he said it was fine but I'm questioning the red. I'll just order the light racing uca and install them before I head to the recon . Where's a good place to get an alignment done.

 

Here's my plug for american tire coming around again... I take all my machines there... If they can't get it aligned for whatever reason, they still give me the sheet that will pass for recon

Ask for Rena and tell her jason from american machinery sent you

When you speak to Rena, make sure you tell her you have recon inspection and you need a passing sheet... If they cannot align to exact spec, they print a phoney sheet to get you passed, and they give you another one with legit numbers for your own records

 

Well I got the tires replaced and they installed the wrong size so added a free mount and balance ,alignment and sold me the tires for cost so I didn't feel the need to complain anymore i was thinking of bringing the truck to scottys or island brake and alignment

I hear awesome things about both Scotty's and island.... I just havent gone there yet because I'm loyal to Rena... Her kid and mine went to the same school, and I send all my tire work there...
