I've got a 2 month wait a head of me after putting a $1000 deposit down….and stuck biking to work :goingcrazy:

Anyone else getting caught up buying accessories during their downtime? I know I am; already bought a BP skid plate, tailgate letter inserts, and contemplating a DB grill and NFAB steps.

And saving for a leveling kit, rims and tires and sliders...!!!
A new grill of somekind when I finally see something I like and I already ordered bed mat and spare tire lock...!!!

I think in the long run Toyota is going to pay for them dropping the ball and not having trucks to sell, I think many folks went towards chevy or another brands that had trucks on the lot and ready to sell. I know I almost went and pulled the trigger on a Colorado but knew I wouldn't be happy down the road. But Toyota isn't taking care of the guys waiting and not coming even close on there delivery dates they have been promising. It better be worth the wait!!!!!

This is correct... They have completely dropped the ball for me and i was told Toyota will be sending me a check after the deal is complete for making me wait so long. The amount will depend from when i receive the truck, (which at this point i still do not have a build date and ordered in mid October) but i was told from my dealer it will be a minimum of $1,000. I told my dealer, that's nice, but keep the money and give me my damn truck lol. But the money will pay for my Softopper at least.

Did you make a formal complaint to someone about the wait or did they just do it?

I have been very kind to them, they are getting upset with Toyota, probably because I'm already under a contract with them and locked in on my trade value, which incentivizes them to make the deal faster.

Based off what I've read, it should be any day now. Especially since I am in Southern Cal, about 3 hours from the Baja Plant.

Just ordered a DCSB TRDOR 6MT 4x4 in Inferno. Sales manager said 12 to 16 weeks. Coming from Jeeps, I guess this gives me more time to learn the ways of the Taco.
