Great job man! I'm glad you took the lead here and showed all that a huge tank can be done for less! That's an aluminum tank also so its got to be light. How does it stand on its own when you start pulling on the hose?

I know I wish we could find deals like this... @Rattletrap66 is getting some stealth 6 wheels for really good price and I can't find anything like that :boom:

Not too sure yet. Still have to test that out. If you pull on the hose a little bit, it stretches it out. Doing that a few times makes me think there might not be issues when the tank is free standing.

    Thanks Scott!!

Keep an eye on that hose when using the tank a lot. CO2 can freeze the line and make it brittle which can end badly.

My final thought is to mount it under my bed and clamp it in like they do with propane tanks on forklifts anf plumb it out through the bumper (when I get one made) that way I can just buy a long hose to get around the truck. Come refill time I can just refill the tank or swap it.

    From a homebrewing forum

you can try it, but getting liquid CO2 in the regulator usually ruins it (requires a rebuild, as the CO2 liquid RAPIDLY expands inside the valve/diaphragm)

What about adding an expansion chamber?

You see these in paintball guns laying down so I'm curious.

I'm sure you could, I like the mobility of the tank so if I use it on someone else's truck you don't need your truck nearby
