If you have relatively low miles you'll notice much less of a difference swapping shocks. On mine when I put 5100's on at 140k or so it was a HUGE improvement over stock. I run the fronts at .85 with a 1" block in the back. 16x8's 0 offset with 265/75/16's. The fronts occasionally rub the stock mudflaps a little.

yeah I thought about that. I am good with what I have, I would have done it differently if done over. No biggy. I love the truck so it will be fine. I did take the front sway bar off and it did take some of the stiffness out.

I had a leveling kit I didn’t like it so I got the Toytec bilies 3” adjustable with eibach springs. So much better!

Same here. I bought my truck with 140k on it and put on 5100s a couple months later. Probably going with 6112/5160 next time but 5100s are a solid option, even at stock ride height.

I keep reading that the 6112/5160 setup is a considerably bigger step up than the 5100s.

I did the Headstrong 2 inch coils with 5100 all around with the Headstrong 3 leaf AAL in the rear and my truck rides great

I leveled the truck using a 6112/5100 combo and I feel the ride is of considerable improvement both on and off pavement. I never attempted blocks or all around 5100's so can't say how much improved, but definitely a better setup compared to the TRD 4600's it ran stock.

Why do you have to take the sway bar off ? And how does that effect the ride ?
