So I got my first court hearing for my speeding ticket tomorrow.

@StOrMyThEtAcO and @Moose1988 did y'all plead guilty or not guilty at your first hearing for criminal speeding?

I only ask because I wanna get diversion to avoid the points and insurance hike.

 

I plead not guilty at the first one. An that's all that happened that day. Then they set me a new date an on that day they had a plea deal where it knocked it down to a cival infraction so there misdemeanor
I still had the point on my license but it didn't make insurance go up

 

You got the diversion as part of the plea agreement? Did you have a lawyer?

Same here. But depends what you got busted for. I was doing 89 and i got criminal speeding ticket..

Pleading not guilty will guarantee you a trial to plead your case. Whether or not it gets dropped from criminal to civil is really up to the judge and how you present your case. We have a judge here that is a softie and pleads everything down. Conversely the judge in a nearby court has no tolerance for criminal speed and rarely accepts a plea.

 

I really don't want to go trial. I'm just hoping prosecutor has an awesome plea deal.

 

As many of you know the Rinzler is dead. Anyways Stefen needs a few parts so we can give his truck to the insurance company. He needs stock wheels and tires, stock uppers lowers coilovers and spindles. If anyone has any of these items please text Stefen or I. It's a sad day but we need to help Stefen out in his time of need.
