Ok so I went ahead and took my elocker actuator off to see why it wasn't engaging. It didn't take long to figure out why...

So now I'm not sure what to do. Obviously I can't put it back on and I can't drive around with an open hole in my diff. Really my only option now is make a plate and silicone it and bolt it on there.... But will that work?

And last I read you can't just buy the actuator correct? Is the only way to get them is off another truck?

All you guys playing in the snow are making me jealous :( There's tons of snow here in VT now but nowhere to play in it.

How can all that be repaired? It's all rotten I can make the hole even bigger. And what about the silver piece that shaped of? And I thought that was aluminum? Both bolts holding that plate snaped. I drilled them out and count pry that cover off wthout it falling apart.

That snow looks pretty fresh and powdery too! The last trip I had the snow had been there a week or two so it was hardish and all you did was sink and couldn't get too much traction!looks fun though! Locker worked fine after all the cleaning up I'm guessing?

Can you see a part number. I'm going to the toyota yard tomorrow and I could take a look around for ya. Plus I can also check camelback toyota. They have great prices. Just to give you other options.

Awesome I have never driven in soft powder like that! Trying to get the truck ready in time before the next snow comes in!

Could someone have took it off for some reason, took the gear off the end and then bolt it back on the diff for some reason?
