    The diff hasn't exploded nor is there any damage. I guess it was taken off for some reason. Now is there a difference between the elocker motor and the elocker actuator? If a part that's labeled elocker acuator only, does it not have the motor? And vis-versa.

    You will have to call the places that have them, some are both and some are not.

    If it were me I would take the diff apart and make sure it is not laying in the bottom of the housing.

    Found out the connector the hooks up to the connector on the actuator has serial pins broke/corroded as well....

    This is the first time I've pulled the it off the truck. It hasn't worked since I got the truck.

    Well my dad took a small piece of wire and fished it inside the drain hole and tried to tell around for anything setting in the bottom. He doesn't think it's in there. And if it was, wouldn't it be stuck to the magnet on the drain plug? Possibly?

    is there even enough room in the hosing with the ring gear for that thing to sit there and now get chewed up? I mean safest bet is to pull the third and be dead sure because you dont want a rebuild...but i think you would have noticed by now

    I know on mine the ring gear is on the otherside of the diff from the drain plug.

    Well I had drained the diff already and it wasn't there.

    I would think so too. I don't see how something that size could not be hurting anything.

    What would be a reason for someone to pull the gear of the actuator? I wouldn't be surprised if there was no reason.... Whoever owned this truck before wasn't very smart. You should see the axle seal I replace. Looks like someone punched it in there with a screw driver... And the interior had mold growing on it and covered with oil so yeah...
