if i sprayed febreeze on my cabin air filter

Is there something to spray either on the filter or somewher else so the air coming out of the vents doesn't smell? I have to buy new air fresheners every other week because my A/C and heat smells at first. I get a little self concious when a hot chick steps in and she's either cold or too warm. Any ideas on how to fix that problem?

 

i put about 1/3 of a dryer sheet on top of the filter i pul the filter out about once a month and pat all the shit out of it that it has collected.
I found it best if you fold the sheet into every fold of the filter that way it doesn't move when you pull the filter in and out

 

If only Febreze came in Black Ice scent ...

why not just put an car freshener on top of the air filter. you can remove the scent when you want then.

 

i do this, but a full dryer sheet, and minus the folding (thats a good idea btw)

I love the black ice trees. I keep the glove box stocked with em.

 

i put one of the trees and it works just fine for me i replace the tree every month ... .but the smell dies out within like 2 weeks

 

i just throw a dryer sheet under each front seat..... always smells nice and fresh in my truck. and it lasts prolly a month

 

This time of year, stuff the old ones in your heater vents. You'll get another couple weeks out of them.

i used to pin the trees between the windsheild and the dash right where the defrost heater is hitting the window. makes them last a while after they seem to die off

 

it works...but its better to just get a new one...i vaccumed all the crap out and tried to blow it out with a shop vac...worked for a little while...i also put some air freshener gel on top.

but the best way to do it is just febreeze it once in awhile and clean it out, but after about a year or so just replace the thing because it gets to a point where you can't get the dirt out lol

and get GLARE air fresheners...their very very strong...but there also $10 a piece...

 

put 2 dryer sheets on top of a clean filter, and your vents will smell like freshly dried clothes

 

I actually get 2 freshly roasted things of coffee beans, put a few small holes in the bags, and put them under my seats. Smells like fresh coffee every time I get into the truck.
