There's a ton in VA and WV as well. It's kinda creepy driving out to Seneca Rocks at night and seeing the blinking red lights in the sky.

 

finally hooked my plasma cutter into the 240v panel and gave it a test ride. it sliced through 1/4'' steel plate far better than I could have hoped for. without fine tuning the pressure or amperage, the cut was already less than 1/16'' wide.

now I just need to fine tune the settings, and make some guides for perfectly straight cuts, and circles/curved edges.

 

What will you be fabricating first?

 

a cage for my wife, so she can't grab me from the garage to tell me I have "house work" to do

 

In southern Minnesota, on i90....the red blinking lights of the wind mills are perfectly synchronized and its weird sight to see at 4 in the morning

 

haha I bet. The ones in WV are on a mountain that disappears in the blackness of the night sky, so it just looks like synchronized flashing lights floating in the sky. I started to think they were an alien spaceship at 2 am.

 

You haven't seen the alien space ships over there? Dude, everyone has.

I wish I could give you some of mine .A short day is 9or10 average is 12hrs and I'm salary so it sucks

 

Yea I was suppose to be working 5 12 hour days this week until they decided they weren't going to run this week...

 

feel ya. 6 days a week, 12 hours a day......salary.

 

F that! I get overtime once I hit 50 hours, but I'm paid for a 40 hour week. That means I have to give the company 10 hours before I get straight pay. I do my best to hit my 40 and go home.

 

@colinb17 Are you planning on attending the Appalachian Roundup this year? I'll be there, and I have to drive twice as far as you. No excuses!
