in all seriousness I'll second the motion of just get it fixed and let it go. To be honest if it was them and you keep pushing you might just make it more of an issue for your sister who lives across the street from them than anything else. I've seen this kind of stuff unfold when dealing with those who do shit like egg someones car. Shit sucks but to be honest it would never end well, and probably just make these people (IF they did it) more pissed off and more of a problem.

Friend of mine had somebody stick bologna all over their car. If you don't pull those off really quickly and wash the paint your car will have bare metal polka dots pretty darn quick.

 

I had a guy piss me off at a party one time. I shit in a dryer full of his clothes and turned it on high. We've been laughing about it for a decade... I doubt he laughed at all.
