    There is a hole drilled in the side of the ABS tube. Cap was too nice to drill into. :D

    Changed my oil, and this little washer/gasket. 1st time for the gasket since I've owned the truck. :p

    Also had my wheel bearings replaced, again, 2nd time in 9000 miles but that's another story for another time. This happened last month but thought some of you might like to see what happens when they get wet.

    Before I put in my fumoto, I use to change those every time. Still have a bag of them somewhere. They're really cheap and it's very frustrating changing your oil only to have those leak. Got to drain it all and do it again to swap a 50 cent washer.

    I would inevitably end up covered in oil if I tried that.


    Plus that would involve dropping real heavy skid plates. I like my fumoto.

    I use royal purple 5w-30 oil and the royal purple filter. It comes out to about 75 bucks an oil change..but I only change the oil and filter once a year or between 12 and 15k miles..love the stuff! 265000 mile with next to no compression loss and within 3lbs across all cylinders! (Just tested em last month)

    I wheel my rig quite a lot, and never had an issue. The end of the fumoto is over an inch above the skid plate. Also seems like a hard spot to bend a skid plate that much, but yes, it could potentially increase the chance at damaging your oil pan. A guy with a 2nd gen I know dented his oil plan slightly because of his fumoto and skid plate deflection.

    they sure do make oil changes effortless. I hope I can keep mine after the build, although I'm not sure, we are adding a shit ton of moving parts down there.
