Yeah. I initially was looking at Maxtrac and then found out those were for 2WD. Thanks for looking out though.

6" ProComp lift on 35 MT's. ARB Bumper.
I have the PC 6" on my truck. I also have upgraded coilovers. I do offroad frequently on moderate rated trails. I have not had an issue. Not a knock on traditional 3" lifts, but I like the looks of the 6" versus the 3", and I can run 35's with minor trimming.

    Good luck on your decision!

I also like the look of the 6" myself. I just don't want diminished off-road capability as a side effect. Would you say maybe some remote reservoir type coilovers would be a wise investment? I'm not afraid to spend money to get the look and performance I want. I would also like to be able to run 35's although I fear if I get into that big of a tire, I may as well re-gear at that point, and then I may as well go full locker front and rear. Haha

Take it as you will, a 6" lift is more for looks than function. Others can chime is as to why. In order to run 35's with an automatic I'm pretty sure regearing is damn near required.

Which is basically what I said. I'd prefer to stick with something that doesn't require me to regear. Perhaps a 33" tire?

So basically the consensus is no bracket drop lifts, what should i do then?

OME885's, AAL, and 5100's on all 4 corners? I could retain factory wheels this way as well, right? I have the black wheels that come with the TSS package which don't look all that bad IMO.

Is that your truck this time? Lol

Seriously though, I like the way it looks. Are those 33's?

Also, is there a TW recommended vendor? I'd rather not piece meal everything together from several different ones.

I'll say this 3" lift = 6" lift ground clearance.

If you put a drop bracket kit on your truck and plan on actually going off road with it, expect to break or bend - you are completely changing the torsional bracing of the truck and no matter what the companies (or others say) those brackets are never going to be as strong as the frame mounts - good shocks won't change this. Now, you definitely get more lift and therefore more tire clearance but the drop kits actually LOWER your ground compared to just a suspension lift. a proper 3" lift versus a drop bracket 6" lift with the same size tire, the 3" lift will have better clearance and be FAR more reliable.

Just don't do it - it's fine if you are going to do light off roading, trail drives, but if you plan to actually go out and get rowdy it WILL leave you stranded and frankly is just dangerous.

Also, FWIW - I'm on 37s, on stock gears - do what makes you happy...

So can I use my stock rims with this 3" lift? I assume they'll clear the UCA's without an issue. I am just about ready to pull the trigger on the 887X/5100/Camburg/Deaver AAL combo.

I havent had any problems with my 6" PC lift, but i only have about 2k on road/mall miles on it. I like PC because they offer the lift shield warranty which is good if you decide to do some serious wheeling.
