Finally! The 2016 Tacoma BAKFlip and Revolver will be released either today or tomorrow officially. First production date is 1/15/16. This is a huge improvement over the 05-15 design as it now allows full access to the track system which Flex does not do.

Do you have any pictures or information showing the new design BAKFlip and how it is installed? Curious to see how it is installed without interfering with the rail system.

That revolver x2 is what I was waiting for! I would love to see the install guide for it first though. I want to be able to use the front bed rail for a bike mount and I am concerned this would be sticking out a little to far.

They aren't ready. People have been in contact with them since October. They keep telling everyone 30-60 days.

 

Got a email today. They are ready to ship on January 15th. Website should be updated soon.

Thanks for the manuals! This helps a lot. Anyone have any idea how easy it could or would be if I had to remove this front the truck temporarily to haul something. More specifically just the front / rolled up section. It would be the cherry on the top if you could leave all the core mounting hardware on but remove the rolled up cover portion fairly easily.
