    Holy shit....

Wait wut? WiFi is just for the phone to connect to the internet. If you have an internet router that puts off a WiFi signal, you can connect a phone/computer/tablet/etc. to it so that you use the WiFi for internet, opposed to your data that you pay for on your phone. Since our gym doesn't allow us to have good cell service (metal buildings block the signal), I have to use WiFi to access music streaming. The music would play, regardless of what headphones I used.

    Simple version:

WiFi wirelessly connects devices to the internet

Bluetooth connects two separate devices wirelessly

Ohh!! Gotcha! Damn, stupid question on my part.
That means I gotta start uploading gym music to my phone since my gym has poor service and no wifi.

Haha I still have a ton of CDs too but I converted most to MP3 back in high school so I just use my phone/iPod/computer to listen in the car, gym, office, ect. I did see someone at the gym not that long ago with a Walkman disc player strapped to their hip. No way that isn't just skipping along with every rep

Has anyone donated plasma regularly? I am doing it for the year and using my earnings for truck parts and or a vacation. Curious on how it affects your energy level in the gym?

You'd be surprised, I used one in my car for years and had little issues with skipping. That said in the gym or for convenience MP3 is the way. I work out at home so I can just use a boombox. And yes I'm old haha

I got burnt out on rap and decided to try out the metal station on Spotify...holy shit...I've found a new favorite. I've always hated rap, but it gets me going in the gym, but I used to listen to a lot of metal in high school, but kinda grew out of it. It's great gym music though!

Yeah. If you don't have access to wifi or if you have shitty service, you can't stream, so you'll have to buy/steal the music and put it on your phone. The good thing with that is, you can access the music anytime. I have about 3000 songs on iTunes, but 99% of it is crap I can't work out to lol

I don't even know where all my CDs are. In high school, I had one of those big books to keep them in and it was such a hassle. Now, my computer, phone, car, etc. are all mp3. So much easier.

I think I'm one of the very few in here that do. I do IIFYM and count every calorie and macro. For me, it's necessary because if I don't, I'll way under or over shoot. I eat the same thing for every meal everyday just to make life easier for myself. Of course, I do substitute food often if I wanna mix it up and I cheat a lot on the weekends.

I used to track my macros on a constant basis as well. But as I mentioned, I'm slowly getting back into it after a rough patch. Good news is I feel like I'm getting my strength back. Dat muscle memory yo!
Now I just want to get my diet back on track. I'm about 5'7" approximately 170-175lbs (skinny fat for sure) and have no clue what my body fat % is.. but if i had to guess I'd say somewhere around 15-20%.

I started my meal prep this week. I'm eating 16 oz of chicken breast a day, 1 cup of rice a day, 1 scoop of protein.. from my fitness pal that equates to about 7F/223C/147P. (that includes a baked potato that i forgot to mention)
I want to get strong again but at the same time build some lean muscle mass. Here's what I'm thinking I should shoot for: 80F/300C/170P ~ 2600 calories.
I figure if i throw in some HIIT or some soccer or throwing the pigskin around for cardio should get me going again. What do ya'll think?

Those macros look fine but seem a bit low for gaining size no? During my cut I ate 2500 with no cardio.

This is how I feel about cardio

Maybe.. I'm not trying to get much fatter either though. Well maybe I could try it out for a month and see where it takes me then from there I could either add more carbs or protein.. not sure which to add more of. I know that on a cut, it's usually carbs dropping and fat rising. But what if it's a lean bulk?

EDIT: X2 on the Rocky mention! ADRIAANNNNNNNNNN

I was afraid some of you might get that idea.. But no that's essentially my main courses. It's usually 8oz chicken and 1/2 cup of rice for lunch and dinner. I try to fit in breakfast when I can. If i can't, I usually just take a protein shake and a banana on the go. But as for the rest of the macros I need to fulfill I plan to consume a mix of greek yogurt, peanut butter, almonds/nuts and oatmeal with an assortment of fruits/vegetables.

Yea that's the best way to do it. Monitor your weight for a few weeks, then adjust accordingly. And oh... more carbs!
