Is anyone here running a 3inch lift and using wheel spacers? If you are, what size are they? Trying to figure out if I should get some wheels spacers or not.

Appreciate the info! Gonna have a project soon. Just gotta order a few other items. Putting this on the list, plus it will save a few dollars to put towards the other items.

Do the spacers make you have better handling?

well.....I really dont know lol. I havent really noticed much lol...but on the other hand...my truck doesnt have a sway bar, so it has a floaty feeling to begin with. BUT the spacers to give you a wider track width, so in theory, you have a more stable platform since the wheels stick farther out. You'll also increase your turning radius too lol. I mostly got my spacers for the looks. once I got my 35s and fiberglass up front, it was needed up front. It would have looked very weird without spacers and having glass up front haha

Thank you all for your responses. I didn't quote you guys cause many of you chimed in and I am on my iPad which I am still learning how to use (I prefer Android). I guess a 1inch to 1.5 inch would make truck a bit more stable. I have a roof rack and sometimes if I take a corner too quick it would seem as if I may roll over cause of the added weight on top.

yeah see my truck doesnt feel like that at all lol. Without the sway bar and I take a corner pretty fast, I get a lot of body roll and thats about it haha. 1.25" or 1.5" will be good, in your situation you want your center of gravity lower if it feels like your truck wants to roll. so spacing the wheels out will give you that little bit of track width to help with that

Yes, that was due to complacency of not tightening the nuts on the wheel spacer and just doing "tight" while the truck was on the lift and no one holding the brake. I got extremely lucky with where that happened, it was on a dirt trail and not the highway. If it was....I would have said goodbye to the rear axle and possibly the truck. I don't fuck around with not making shits torqued. I've learned my lesson with it. I need to recheck the pickups spacers to make sure they are tight....only reason I haven't yet is because I haven't driven the thing since I rebuilt the front end and parked it in my carport. Once the trans, wiring harness, and rear studs/drum brakes are fixed, I'll be retorqing everything down.
