I just installed dirt king upper lower control arms with King extended travel coilovers. The alignment shop got it very close but they suggested that the tabs that the alignment cams push against were flexing. This resulted in a negative 1 one on the camber. He suggested this is a common problem with aftermarket LCA'S. He also said he has seen shops weld a bead/gusset on the outside of the tabs which stops the flexing.
Has anyone heard of this problem before?
I also installed new cam hardware.

The truck seems to drive straight but I do not want premature tire wear.

    I appreciate any input.

when I replaced my seized lower control arm bushings I installed these. They work awesome and they are beefy. My only concern is why are your tabs bending with new lower control arms?

I have those ^^^ on one of my tacos and they've been great. Before I had them, desert trips would throw my alignment out. Haven't had to realign since

It was just a matter of time before we crossed paths on here. I just took it to Mountain View tire to get it close. Gonna take it to Bear alignment in Corona this Saturday. I have heard they are good. Talk to you tomorrow.

Ya the wife knows. It is kinda of hard to hide the transformation over the last few months. She does not care what I spend cash on. Pretty lucky like that.

Are these the same for the 3rd gen? most likely going to upgrade mine because apparently they already flexed because firestone did not torque it tight enough.

I would think they are the same. I straightened out the tabs and through a nice weld bead behind each one. They have been solid for well over a year now. I have heard great things about the Total Chaos tab gussets also. I just don't feel like tearing it all down to install them until I service everything.
