I don't know what else to do. I still get rainwater on the passenger side floor of my 2002 extended cab 4wd v6. I have checked for bloackage in the AC overflow drain, seam sealed the pinch weld on the firewall as per the TSB, even took the fender off and seam sealed that weld. Also silicon applied around windshield and wires passing through passenger side firewall. Can anyone think of anything else to do? It's driving me nuts, and I have a brand new vinyl mat to install, but I don't want to until I'm sure the leak is sealed.
Thanks for reading, hopefully someone has input!

I say take everything out. put a gopro there and spray your truck or go through a car wash to see if the gopro can record where the leak is coming from.

Not a bad idea, but I've already taken carpet out and watched with a light while spraying. Water is coming form somewhere behind the firewall insulation. I'm hoping to avoid removing the heater and ductwork and insulation.

Leveling kit, all the plastic, UWS tool box! Don't plan to lift want it to be able to drive daily and work the woods as well!!
Turn the max air on in your truck with windows and doors shut. Go around with a stray bottle on the firewall and there should be enough pressure to create bubbles where the leak is. Sounds crazy but it will work!

Are you sure it's just rainwater? Or is it when you use the defog? The condenser unit in the heater core might be leaking, or if it's coolant that's leaking your heater core could be the culprit. If it's coming out from behind the dash, you're going to have to tear that all out to find the source anyway.

Is it coolant or water? There was just a thread where someone had liquid leaking in the same spot. He ended up having to pull the whole dash and do the heater core.
