    Lol! Good talk! I just read a post by toytec saying that you can get away with stacking your 1/4 top plate spacer with a 1/2 top plate spacer. But maybe ill just set the billys at .85 and be done. Thanks for your post.

    Yeah then you probably need the longer studs up the top. I was going to do that initially but this is a good way too. You could always just try 887a at 0 and see what you get.

    So I'm ordering my lift this week. 5100s, 885s 1/4 spacer, and an aal. Just not sure if I want a wheelers or Toytec or deaver AAL. can anyone chim in. I'll be running the 5100s at 0 for now

    PJC1183 in another thread said he went with this kit on his truck. I have the same thing on order.

    After speaking with King this morning, I decided to cancel my order on the kings and go with the extended travel version of the same shocks: 25001-119E and 25001-121E. If anyone is wondering, the extended travel versions designated with "E" at the end of the item number are 1/4" longer than the non-"E" version. They are not in the King catalog and are considered a custom shock, but they are regularly produced and sold. Per King, aftermarket UCA is required to run these shocks in the front.

    As I understand it, the main benefit isn't that you get more lift, but you get the same lift with slightly more down travel (droop).

    Those of you doing aftermarket UCA's, how many had to cut off the UCA bolts and replace with new bolts? Did you have to cut both sides? Want to know so I can order them and have them ready when my truck finally arrives.

    This is the kit I am thinking about ordering as well. My concern is length of the shocks. Because of the "extra inch" of lift you get from the '16 Tacoma, will these shocks be too far extended?

    Is it still riding well after settling? I'm fairly certain I'm going with this same lift. Did you use the 1/4" top spacers on either side?

    Yup rides great! Did the trim packer (1/4" spacer for driver side lean) but that's all.
