It's still a switchback since it's on until something tells it to turn off.

As for replacing the current driver, I'm not sure. Looks like you just connect them. I'd ask them personally though.

I need to replace the little black round thing the wires go into. I'm guessing it's bad. It not on yes website. But will that switchback driver replace it?

Uhm, not sure what you're asking.

I'd just get a hold of somebody over at TRS to see whether or not you need to cut off the drivers that came connected to your halos.

That's the problem I can't get a hold of anyone. I guess I can try to call them.

Replacing my carrier bearing today. Is there anything like aniseize or lock tight to put on the drive shaft and carrier bolts when I reinstall?

I'm only 12,000 miles behind you bud.

Then again, I've only put 21,000 miles on in my 3 years of ownership...

Haha I'm the same way. I'll have random spurts where I rack up miles quickly from travelling, then go back to normal life where I live less than 5 minutes from work/gas station/grocery store.

Use lock tite on the drive shaft. I didn't when I changed my CB. Came apart on the way home from work. Stopped at a stop sign, slight axle wrap occurred and axle seperated because the nut was gone. Went to take off and nothing. Looked under truck to see problem. Wired up DS, put in 4 wheel drive and drove home.

I would avoid angling the shocks inward unless all you're doing is crawling.

    Looking good Tuck!

That's suppose to be a stake nut holding the carrier bearing on. Lock-tite is completely unnecessary if staked properly.

Good deal thanks for the heads up! I just saw some other guys have it like that but didn't do much research because it won't be for a while.

    Which
I obviously did not install correctly. I used lock tite the second time around and it worked fine for 200k.

I don't have an auto, but that looks pretty normal for other vehicles that have autos. You think your parking pawl is going bad?
