Sometimes you get tired of hanging out on this thread and you bite the bullet. Tacoma would be the only vehicle worth paying MSRP in the long run.

Just like the title of this thread, "waiting game". If you can wait and get a better deal IMHO it's nice to save $$. The hysteria is easy to get caught up in because yes these are awesome trucks:burnrubber:

Welcome, and be forewarned. Depending on the build style you may need therapy for controlling your waiting anger.

I won't wait 12-16 weeks. I'll either get one similar to what I want or wait till the 17's come out.

I'm not in a hurry. As long as it is here in time for me to mod it for our annual Colorado wheelin' trip.

No tech. I don't like how much headroom the moonroof takes away..

Can someone riddle me what "A status" & "F status" refers to? My dealer says that the truck is in A status and won't get a VIN until it hits F status.

The A is for allocation, the trucks holding place in line to be built. And the F is for when it's finished being built and the real vin is produced, or at least this is what I remember them telling me when mine was built. . They should at least be able to give you the mock vin or allocation vin, telling you where it's places is in line to be built
