Yep, that's what I would have thought. Except the bag that came with my shovel has only the "loop" strip of Velcro sewn on. It's missing the corresponding "hook" section. I'll just buy a strip, and ask my Wife to sew it on with her machine. That should do the trick. Thanks for the response!

 

you don't have a strip on one side and a strip on the other side?
I made one fold and the two strips connected..

 

Nope, just the one strip. LOL...I just wanted to make sure that it should've had two strips, like I was thinking it should.

how do you like the quality of the tire repair kit? the needle nose pliers?

The tire repair kit is decent. I think it's a better and/or more complete package than the repair kits I've bought in the past from Autozone or Wally. The pliers aren't anything great, but I think they'll hold up just fine to the limited use they'll receive. There's plenty of cords included with the kit, some extra valve stem caps, and some other extra pieces. I really like the shovel. It's got some weight to it, and it feels like it should last a long time. I bought it primarily to use when it snows around here (which isn't all that often), so it should last me pretty much the rest of my life! I'm really happy with the deal I received from Boss 4X4. The discount coupled with free shipping yielded a pretty nice deal on these two items.

 

I wanted to add that Sarah is great, she almost broke my eternal indecision. I didn't realize this was a CA company that is 30 minutes away from me and a great deal even with CA sales tax.
