looks like you've got some frame rub there from the front tire there, Derek. Got the evidence via a nice polished area on the frame in the 3rd pic.
    Oh, BTW. Nice pics! :)

i have the toyos and love them, great tire. i dont really do a whole lot of offroading but when i do hit the mud they track very well. onroad they are do awesome. hardly make any road hum at all compaired to most of the m/t tires. i had bfg a/t's on my old truck and they made more of a hum than my current toyos. the wear has been great so far... with about 10,000 miles

Hmm thats interesting because I know a few guys with the toyo MT's and imo, they're slightly louder on the road than my BFG KMs and also seem to ride a little rougher. Definitely seem feel the lugs on the toyos more at low speed.

    Great pics!

You are in Austin, but I guess you've been everywhere in Texas. I'll go home next month bringing my truck. Do you know of any place to wheel close to Dallas? I don't mind driving 100 miles.

    Thanks.

i had cooper stt's and they were crap, they chunked out and fell apart and were completly bald after about 12,000 miles

i then switched to the Toyo M/T tires that i have now and love them. they are a little heavier but the wear is awesome and im at like 75% tread after 15 - 20,000 miles.

    that's a first for me...

i ran two sets of STTs and got just under 40,000 miles out of each set, wheeling them pretty regularly once a month...

ya im not complaining about how good they wheeled cause they did good except for chunking out entire threads the first time i went wheeling with them, i made the mistake of not buying from les shwab also and the place wouldnt refund me for the tires being so shitty. also had a side wall blow out in one of them after 8k miles randomly and still wouldn't replace it.

what kind of terrain did you wheel in with them?

Dont go with NITTO. KM2 or the toyo will be a toss up. You can five star reviews on each tire online. I wanna get Wrangler with kevlar. I have heard amazing reports
